Our client is a reputable company in the F&B retail chain industry. In order to support the companys rapid growth and continuous improvement, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Legal Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal support for the company and subsidiaries.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (NDAs, MOUs, SPAs, franchise agreements) ensuring the company's protection.
  • Advise on regulatory issues and ensure legal compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Handle litigation, civil cases, and consumer conflicts, and manage out-of-court settlements.
  • Support business operations and strategy by drafting legal documents and providing legal insights.
  • Manage and advise on trademark and IP issues to safeguard company assets.
  • Handle both contentious and non-contentious corporate and commercial legal matters.
  • Provide legal opinions on business matters, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel for specialized projects, transactions, or litigation.
  • Perform additional legal duties as assigned by management.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Law; admitted to Bar.
  • Over 4 years PQE, ideally with a strong background in commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and litigation.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in drafting and negotiation, and a comprehensive understanding of corporate and commercial law.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in reviewing legal documents, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential legal issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective engagement with diverse stakeholders while upholding integrity and ethical standards aligned with the companys values.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively across departments to achieve common objectives and adapts seamlessly to changing legal and business environments.
