Job Description

Our client is a consumer retail company scaling up their technology team. They are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, including sales transactions, customer interactions, and marketing campaigns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
• Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to identify patterns, correlations, and insights in the data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and data mining to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data-driven insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or related role, preferably in the retail industry.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling is an added advantage.
