Job Description

Our client, a well-established player in the automotive industry, is looking to hire a Legal Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall legal risk across the organisation and its subsidiaries
• Provide proactive legal advisory to identify potential risks and issues early
• Identify opportunities to leverage legal strategies to create value while managing risk
• Oversee contract management across the organisation
• Liaise with group-level stakeholders and regional offices on legal matters
• Conduct legal research on new laws and regulations, and advise on business impact
• Manage and oversee litigation matters
• Support risk and compliance initiatives across departments
• Provide legal advisory on project-related risks
• Assist the General Manager on ad-hoc legal and operational matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant legal experience
• Prior exposure to corporate/commercial legal work; industry experience is a plus
