Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Insurance Manager to oversee all insurance-related matters for their EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage corporate and project insurance programmes.
• Provide insurance and risk advisory support during project execution, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
• Review insurance requirements and contractual obligations across EPC contracts, charter parties, subcontractor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Act as the primary liaison with insurance brokers, underwriters, insurers, and P&I Clubs.
• Lead insurance renewals, policy negotiations, premium discussions, and claims management.
• Conduct risk assessments for vessels, offshore operations and corporate operations, recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Ensure insurance compliance across all projects and maintain accurate insurance documentation and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in marine insurance, offshore energy, shipping, or oil & gas industries.
• Experience in insurance broking, underwriting, or corporate insurance management.
• Strong knowledge of marine and construction insurance policies and risk transfer mechanisms.
• Proven experience handling complex offshore insurance placements and claims.
• Good understanding of EPC contracts, charter parties, subcontracting agreements, and contractual insurance requirements.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as ACII or ARM will be an added advantage.
