Our client is a leading provider in total power and data center infrastructure solutions. Currently the are looking for Presales Solution Engineer to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate bidding specifications and design technical solutions, including commercial quotations and proposal preparation for data centre projects.
- Manage presales activities and tender preparations.
- Understand key technologies in power and cooling for critical infrastructure, including design options and relevant standards.
- Apply data centre design requirements, including critical load sizing and required power/cooling equipment, power distribution fundamentals, differences between cooling systems and appropriate applications and system selection based on IT heat load, space planning, PUE & TCO.
- Working with CAD operators to produce facility designs.
- Select and propose suitable solutions across: Power solutions, Cooling solutions, Data Centre LLE equipment, BMS/DCIM, Conduct project site audits to ensure implementation aligns with design.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in data centre M&E design, solutions, tendering, and system implementation (UPS, Electrical Systems, HVAC).
- Familiar with Data Centre Architecture, Engineering, and Uptime Institute Tier standards.
- Strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal and professional handling of work matters.
