Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SI/PI) Engineer to conduct simulation, analysis, and laboratory validation of high-speed digital interfaces across chip, package, and board levels. The role also involves technical customer support and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform signal integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces, including HBM, DDR, LPDDR, UCIe, and MIPI.
-
Analyse crosstalk, reflections, impedance, eye diagrams, and transmission lines.
-
Conduct power delivery network (PDN) analysis, optimisation, and decoupling capacitor validation.
-
Perform PDN impedance measurements and correlate laboratory results with simulations.
-
Use SI/PI tools such as HyperLynx, Ansys SIwave, and Cadence Sigrity.
-
Conduct laboratory validation using TDR, VNA, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
-
Analyse S-parameters, Y/Z-parameters, and multi-port matrices.
-
Collaborate with chip, package, PCB design, and layout teams.
-
Support customers with board design reviews, technical queries, failure analysis, and root-cause debugging.
Key Requirements
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
-
5–20 years of SI/PI experience, depending on seniority.
-
Strong hands-on experience in both SI/PI simulation and laboratory validation.
-
Experience with high-speed digital interfaces and relevant simulation tools.
-
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
-
Good technical communication skills and confidence in customer-facing engagements.
