Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to secondary students that foster critical thinking and creativity.
- Implement a variety of teaching strategies and assessments to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Promote active student participation and develop skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback, helping students set and achieve learning goals.
- Integrate digital tools and innovative practices to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain an inclusive classroom environment catering to diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and contribute to school improvement.
- Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities to support students' holistic development.
Job Requirements
- Relevant degree, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification from a recognized university.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience teaching in the UK or British international schools is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE.
- Proven teaching experience in secondary education with expertise in subject pedagogy.
