Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for a Regional Procurement Manager. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage regional procurement activities across direct, indirect, and project-related spend categories.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve cost efficiency, supply continuity, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, governance standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement procedures, sourcing practices, and vendor management.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business objectives and procurement initiatives.
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and procurement reporting activities.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain and procurement-related risks.
  • Lead or participate in regional and cross-functional projects as assigned.
  • Monitor market trends, sourcing opportunities, and procurement best practices to enhance overall procurement performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environments.
  • Experience handling regional or international sourcing activities is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
  • Good analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in procurement systems, sourcing platforms, and procurement process improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Good understanding of risk management, cost optimization, and procurement best practices.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
