Key Responsibilities

Support mechanical and electrical design for Cable Landing Stations (CLS), submarine cables and terrestrial backhaul systems.
Prepare/review engineering calculations, AutoCAD drawings, specifications and technical documentation covering power, UPS, generators, HVAC, grounding, lighting and fire protection.
Coordinate with civil, structural, telecom and other engineering disciplines for seamless system integration.
Apply data centre design principles and M&E engineering requirements to CLS projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments and technical evaluations.
Review engineering drawings, vendor submissions and technical documents for compliance.
Support construction, commissioning, FAT/SAT and technical issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations and QHSE requirements.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in M&E / Data Centre / Critical Infrastructure design; CLS or telecom infrastructure experience is an advantage.
Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services, including power distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, grounding and fire protection.
Good knowledge of engineering standards, regulations and QHSE requirements.
