About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality System Specialist to manage and maintain the organisation's quality management systems and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards. The role focuses on document control, internal audits, process compliance, training coordination and continuous improvement within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality system documentation, including issuance, distribution, revision control and archiving.

• Monitor departmental records to ensure accuracy, compliance and proper traceability.

• Support internal audits, identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions through to closure.

• Coordinate quality system training and maintain relevant training records.

• Prepare documentation and support internal and external customer audits.

• Collect and analyse process KPIs and prepare quality management performance reports.

• Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA), 5S audits and on-site process inspections.

• Drive corrective actions and ensure identified process and quality issues are resolved within the required timeline.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or above in a relevant discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of total working experience, including at least 3 years in a similar quality system role.

• Hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and customer audits.

• Good knowledge of ISO 9001; familiarity with IATF 16949, VDA, BIQS and Formel-Q is required.

• Minimum 2 years of automotive industry experience.

• Internal auditor experience is essential; relevant auditor certification is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with Chinese corporate culture and European/American automotive industry practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and process-mapping tools such as Visio.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with good attention to detail.

• Practical understanding of process management and implementation.
