Our client specialises in providing innovative solutions for livestock, poultry, and swine farming.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage part and component sourcing, supplier selection, and supplier management to ensure competitive cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead times, costs, and quality to maximize company benefits.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance during the contract term, including conducting performance evaluations, updating supplier performance records, and providing feedback for improvement.
• Collect and analyze market data to support purchasing decisions.
• Conduct feasibility studies for localization projects.
• Assist the engineering team with cost analysis for new product development.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, the engineering team, and the BDI technical department in new product development, qualification, transition, and production trial runs.
• Perform technical inspections on new samples from local suppliers when necessary.
• Provide technical support for local production, including setting up new production lines, maintaining plant equipment, and sourcing spare parts.
• Follow purchasing guidelines from HQ.
• Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers aligned with the company’s needs and business nature.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial, legal, and contractual requirements in all procurement transactions.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in sourcing or procurement, particularly in sheet metal parts, wire mesh products, and plastic parts.
• Proficient in cost estimation for parts and tooling.
• Strong team player with excellent negotiation and communication skills, particularly in supply chain management.
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes for sheet metal parts, wire mesh production, plastic injection molding, and electrical control panels (enclosures) is an advantage.
• Experience in sourcing raw materials (steel coil, wire rod, plastic resin) and monitoring price and stock movements is a plus.
• Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control is an added advantage.

• Conduct first-piece production inspections at supplier premises.
• Prepare the Quality Inspection Check Sheet, establishing appropriate inspection criteria before the start of mass production for newly localized articles.
• Coordinate with suppliers and inspectors for outgoing inspections to meet set targets.
• Ensure proper calibration of key measuring equipment at suppliers and verify the use of correct measuring tools and inspection jigs during inspections.
• Assist the Procurement Engineer in part qualification and packaging solutions to ensure effective cargo protection and transportation.
• Ensure suppliers comply with all company regulations and requirements.
• Review product assembly guidelines and confirm the availability of all materials and resources.
• Develop and implement quality control guidelines and protocols.
• Train new inspectors, suppliers, and vendors on quality assurance procedures and protocols.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Our client is well-established multinational agro-food corporation and currently looking for Senior Internal Audit Executive.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead internal audit assignment including guiding and training junior auditors
• Plan and organise audit, consulting & ad hoc assignments
• Execute fieldworks for both auditing and consulting
• Liaise with the respective personnel to obtain data/information for planning and fieldwork
• Discuss and clarify issues of concerns with auditees
• Draft findings, audit reports and assist in preparation of presentations
• Ensure proper documentation and cross referencing to evidence the audit works and support the findings, opinion and conclusion made
• Follow up on the status of corrective action plans
• Assist annual audit and resource planning
• Continuous improvement in audit methodology and application of International Professional Practices Framework (“IPPF”)
• Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as instructed by the Manager or Head of Internal Audit

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or equivalent Professional qualification
• More than 3 years of internal auditing experience in public listed company or MNC with exposure to manufacturing operation.
• At least 2 years experience in leading a team of juniors.
• Experience in advisory, investigation, IT Governance/Controls, enterprise risk management, governance & compliance will be added advantage
• Working knowledge on internal audit of various business functions and processes.
