Our client, a well-established player in the manufacturing sector is seeking a proactive and dynamic HR generalist to support and implement strategic and operational HR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career across the full HR spectrum.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, and updating of HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistent application across departments.
  • Assist in managing compensation and benefits frameworks, including internal allowance programs and external market benchmarking.
  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process — job design, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding — in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Provide support in handling employee relations matters, including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary cases.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Plan and implement employee engagement activities; gather feedback to enhance the employee experience.
  • Offer day-to-day administrative and operational HR support including HRIS updates, employee records maintenance, and report preparation.
  • Participate in HR-related projects such as digital transformation, policy reviews, and process improvements alongside cross-functional teams.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian Employment Law and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proactive, result-driven team player with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across functions and levels.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general HR systems.
