Our client is a leading financial technology solutions provider. They are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their expanding development team. As a Senior Software Developer, you are responsible for the analysis, design and development of software products and implementation of client projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering of user requirements from clients.
• Develop enhancements or corrections to software according to approved designs and following industry best practices and company standards and quality procedures.
• Assist in documentation where relevant.
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
• Need to have strong analysis and critical thinking ability.
• Manage relationships and expectations of Customers and Stakeholders.
• Lead on Development, Operational and Technical Projects
• Design test cases, Debug and Resolution of code exceptions
• Manage team resources effectively to drive resolution of issues and risks
• Ensure timely delivery and exceptional quality of work. We aim for zero-fault delivery. So that projects are implemented within budgeted timeframes and costs.
• Strong risk awareness – ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Compliance to data security and integrity.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years working experience using Java. Working knowledge in Angular is preferred.
• Excellent Core Java skill and practical knowledge on common frameworks such as Spring, Springboot, Hibernate/JPA.
• Skilled in SQL and experience in working with Oracle and/or MySQL DB is preferred.
• Knowledge in SOAP and/or REST.
• Great problem solving and communication skills.
