Job Responsibilities
General Duties:
- Achieve student enrollment targets set by management.
- Oversee the daily management of the school, ensuring operational efficiency through effective administration and supervision of systems and routines.
- Provide leadership and direction to key academic staff, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and organizational philosophy.
- Ensure a conducive school environment by maintaining facilities, updating notice boards with relevant information, and properly displaying student work.
- Uphold the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors.
Academic Standard and Student Welfare:
- Oversee the curriculum to ensure effective implementation, ensuring high-quality education for students.
- Foster a positive and professional learning culture within the school.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, promoting high morale and discipline.
Customer Management:
- Engage and communicate with parents regularly to keep them informed about their children's progress.
- Address and resolve complaints in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Staff Management:
- Manage academic staff allocation, including recruiting talented teachers and managing underperformers.
- Ensure key supervisory positions are filled by competent and passionate individuals.
- Monitor language proficiency of teachers to ensure effective communication in English.
- Identify competency gaps in academic staff and implement training and development programs to address them.
- Plan for staff succession to ensure long-term success.
Job Requirements
- Strong communication, management, and supervisory skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate staff effectively.
- Passionate about driving the organization’s core values and ensuring a high standard of education.
- Capable of implementing strategic management plans to ensure school success.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and provide clear, precise instructions.
- Pleasant, approachable, and friendly disposition, especially when interacting with parents and students.
- A degree in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
- In-depth understanding of school capacity and operational requirements.
