Job Summary
Our client, a leading plantation firm, is seeking a Human Resource and Admin Manager to lead their HR and administrative functions. Reporting directly to the CEO/General Manager, you will play a key role in workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and administrative operations to support the company’s growth and strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the CEO/General Manager and Department Heads in organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development.
- Lead the HR team to implement HR policies, programs, and solutions across the organization.
- Provide guidance on rewards, recognition, and compensation by analysing job market trends.
- Ensure effective management of the Performance Appraisal process.
- Prepare and submit HR reports, payroll summaries, and other documentation to management on time.
- Oversee office operations, staff welfare, and administrative functions, including asset management, insurance, and IT maintenance.
- Organize security briefings and training to ensure effective monitoring of company premises.
- Lead annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA), familiarization programs, and on-the-job training initiatives.
- Advise and support managers on labour legislation, disciplinary matters, counselling, and collective labour agreements.
- Plan and manage recruitment campaigns locally and overseas.
- Perform ad-hoc HR and administrative tasks as required by management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR and administrative management, preferably in plantation, agriculture, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of labour legislation, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Experience in workforce planning, performance management, and training & development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work closely with senior management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide practical insights to support decision-making.
