Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Support the implementation of legal and compliance frameworks across the organisation, including areas such as anti-bribery, AML, data protection, sanctions, and export controls where applicable.
Monitor relevant regulatory developments and advise the business on potential impact and necessary actions.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, customer agreements, NDAs, and partnership arrangements.
Provide legal support for business initiatives, including commercial projects, joint ventures, and operational expansions.
Manage contract lifecycle processes and ensure standardisation of legal templates, policies, and documentation.
Support dispute resolution matters, including coordination with external counsel where required, to ensure efficient and cost-effective outcomes.
Manage relationships with external legal counsel and ensure quality, timely, and commercially sound legal support.
Ensure appropriate risk identification and mitigation in all business and contractual arrangements.
Promote awareness of legal and compliance requirements across business functions and support a strong culture of integrity and accountability.

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent; called to the Malaysian Bar or qualified to practise in Malaysia.
Minimum 8–10 years of legal experience, ideally with a combination of in-house and/or private practice exposure.
Strong grounding in corporate and commercial law, with experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
Exposure to M&A, project-related contracts (e.g. EPC), or financial agreements will be an added advantage.
Experience working with external counsel and managing legal matters independently.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced business environment.
Good stakeholder management skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
