Our client is a well-known property / construction firm. In order to support rapid and aggressive expansion, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Civil / Structural Engineer.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute technical design tasks, encompassing proposal development, planning, analysis, calculations, and estimations in response to client inquiries.
• Establish effective communication channels with the Project Manager, contractors, developers, and authority officers to address project design, drawings, regulatory requirements, and site issues, taking necessary actions as required.
• Proactively follow up on project technical issues, conduct visits, and meet with clients and authority officers.
• Provide essential technical inputs to project, engineering, and QC activities to ensure the completion of projects meeting customer expectations, engineering design and standards, and relevant environmental, safety, and health requirements.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager or directors, and be ready for ad-hoc work and projects.
• Perform other assignments as required from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or an equivalent qualification from reputable universities in Japan.
• Malaysian candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the related field are preferred. Those with relevant working experience in Japan will have an added advantage.
• Showcase strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ensuring a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, developers, and authority officers.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working well under pressure.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exhibit a high level of integrity, meticulousness, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese is essential.
