Our client, a global leader in automotive supply and tire manufacturing, specializing in intelligent solutions for safe and sustainable transportation is seeking a Production Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Production Management
- Plan, organize, lead, and control all production areas and support departments to achieve plant objectives related to quality, speed, cost, and personnel.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) including daily volume and scrap reduction, while improving manpower utilization within existing departments and processes.
- Ensure schedule stability for maximum efficiency and returns.
People Management
- Implement disciplinary procedures for subordinates who do not adhere to company policies and rules.
- Conduct performance evaluations and apply Performance Enhancement Plans (PEPs) for underperforming team members.
- Identify specific training needs for team members and facilitate development through collaboration with HR and SFT.
Process Improvement
- Analyze and enhance working procedures related to production efficiency.
- Manage, coordinate, and troubleshoot activities affecting daily output, scrap, rework, and non-conforming components.
- Initiate and lead projects aimed at production improvements, participating as necessary.
Quality Assurance
- Take responsibility for achieving excellence in work processes and outcomes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Understand and adhere to environmental, safety, and health policies, procedures, and regulations as outlined by the ESH Department.
- Promote safety awareness and take responsibility for personal safety and that of colleagues within the plant.
Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health Management System
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) related to quality, environment, safety, and health management systems, adhering to assigned roles and responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in achieving operational objectives.
- Leadership experience of at least 5 years with potential for further development in plant business operations.
