About our client:

Our clients, a prominent leader in their industry, is currently seeking a Project Accounting Manager/Asst Manager. This role will manage project accounting, cashflow, and cost control across the Group’s development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial activities across development projects, ensuring accurate tracking of project costs and financial performance.
• Analyse budget utilisation and provide meaningful insights on project variances and spending trends.
• Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities related to ongoing projects.
• Prepare and maintain project cashflow projections while monitoring actual funding movements against forecasts.
• Coordinate financing matters including loan utilisation, drawdowns, and fund allocation for projects.
• Review contractors’ progress claims, payment certifications, and expenditure commitments to ensure proper cost control.
• Partner closely with project, QS, and operational teams to strengthen financial oversight and project governance.
• Prepare management reporting on project performance, cash position, and financial risks for senior stakeholders and leadership review.

Key Requirements:

• Min degree, CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• Min 6-8 years of working experience within Finance & Accounting roles.
• Strong experience in project accounting, cashflow management, and development financing within large-scale or township developments.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial data and support project decision-making.
• Effective stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across finance, project, and operational teams
