About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and user-focused IT Product Manager to drive the development, enhancement, and optimization of digital products and technology solutions.
You will own the product lifecycle from strategy and planning through execution and performance monitoring, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet business objectives while providing an exceptional user experience. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product management capabilities with a passion for UI/UX and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and user requirements, translating them into product roadmaps, specifications, user stories, and UI/UX requirements.
- Lead product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in product development activities, including prototyping, feature validation, testing, and implementation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Define and monitor product KPIs, including user engagement, adoption, and performance metrics.
- Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain product documentation, feature updates, and release records.
- Provide product training and insights to internal teams to support customer and business needs.
- Identify product risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize operational and delivery impact.
- Manage product issues and coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within technology-driven environments.
- Proven experience managing digital products throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centred product design.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of software development processes, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or BI platforms.
- Basic understanding of programming technologies such as Java, HTML, jQuery, Bootstrap, ASP Classic, or Visual Basic.
- Familiarity with application security concepts, including authentication, encryption, and security assessments.
