Our client is a leading retail chain in the food and beverage industry, seeking an experienced HR Manager to drive human resource strategies and operations for the company.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the human resources strategy aligned with the company’s goals. Design HR department structure and processes to meet organizational objectives.
  • Manage the HR budget and ensure activities are within budget. Provide professional advice on HR matters in line with local laws and processes.
  • Establish succession planning processes, assess manpower needs, and manage recruitment strategies while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Review and analyze roles, salary structures, and benefits systems to ensure competitiveness.
  • Design and oversee performance appraisal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals and staff development.
  • Develop and implement policies for managing employee relations, addressing conflicts and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Assess and collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal HR Management Information System solutions.
  • Keep informed about labor market trends and changes in local HR legislation. Build relationships with HR vendors, recruitment agencies, and HR associations.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 10+ years of HR experience in retail or hospitality, with 5-7 years in a managerial position.
  • Proven ability to manage large workforces in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the full HR spectrum with hands-on experience.
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner in a multinational company preferred.
  • Proven track record in talent and change management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of business needs and departmental roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills.
  • Service-oriented with the ability to empathize with others.
  • Ability to lead, innovate, and create new concepts.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented with a focus on driving change.
